All Fireworks Illegal In Pomona – Pomona PD Taking Zero Tolerance Stance

All fireworks are illegal in Pomona. Police will take a zero tolerance approach this 4th of July.

In an effort to make the 4th of July holiday safe and enjoyable for everyone in the City of Pomona, the Pomona Police Department will be taking a zero tolerance approach to the illegal possession, use, sales or distribution of fireworks. All fireworks are illegal in the City of Pomona, to include Safe and Sane.

The police department will be deploying extra resources on the weekend of 4th of July to enforce firework laws. Fine for possession, use, sales or distribution of fireworks can be as much as $1,000.

The Pomona Police Department encourages anyone with information about the illegal possession, use, sales or distribution of fireworks to contact the police department at 909-622-1241.   The Pomona Police Department wishes you a happy and safe 4th of July.
